Fast Cleaner (the “App”) is provided by dosoft limited (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy applies to the App's processing of personal information. Services independently provided by Apple, third-party analytics providers, and external websites are also subject to their respective privacy notices.
The App organizes photos, videos, calendar events, and reminders on your device. Its cleanup and compression features do not upload this original content to our servers. However, the App transmits device identifiers, usage statistics, diagnostics, attribution data, and subscription information to our services and third-party providers. Some data processing therefore takes place outside your device.
The current version does not require an App account. We do not require your name, phone number, Apple Account password, or bank card information to use the basic organization features. Information you voluntarily include in feedback is handled as described in the feedback section below.
When you grant photo library access and use the relevant features, the App reads photos, videos, and related attributes within the scope of that permission. These include asset identifiers, original filenames, thumbnails or image content, media types, capture or creation dates, dimensions, video durations, and file sizes. The App uses this information to display and categorize items, identify duplicate or similar content, estimate storage usage, support swipe selection, compress files, and carry out the deletions you choose.
The App generates or stores necessary asset indexes, classification results, similarity features, organization status, and temporary compression files on your device. It can also save compressed copies to the system photo library at your request. Persistent local caches include asset identifiers, original filenames, creation dates, file sizes, and swipe flags. Original media content, thumbnails, and recognition features used to organize photos and videos are not included in our analytics reports. Statistics such as photo counts, category counts, scan duration, the number of items cleaned, compression levels, and operation results may be uploaded, as described in Section 1.3.
If an asset is stored in iCloud, the operating system may download it from Apple's services. When you save or delete library content, iCloud Photos may also synchronize the changes to the cloud and your other devices, depending on your system settings. Apple provides that synchronization service.
When you grant the relevant permissions and use calendar or reminder organization features, the App accesses the relevant items and their attributes through system interfaces. These include titles, notes, dates and times, alert times, completion status, the calendar to which an item belongs, and item identifiers. This information is used to display, filter, and delete the items you select.
Item content is processed on your device and is not uploaded through our cleanup interfaces. Statistics such as permission status, feature usage, and item counts may be uploaded. If a calendar or reminder is linked to iCloud, Exchange, or another account, the corresponding system service may synchronize deletions.
When the App starts and you use its features, it generates, reads, or reports the following information to measure usage, analyze feature performance, investigate problems in app flows, and evaluate marketing effectiveness and subscription conversions:
| Information category | Details | Processing |
| App and device information | App identifier and version, operating system version, device model, and the system-provided identifier for vendor (IDFV) | Uploaded to operational analytics services; third-party SDKs may also process corresponding information for their functions |
| App-generated identifiers | Random device identifiers stored in the system Keychain and identifiers assigned by Adjust | Used to associate launches, events, attribution, and subscription records for the same device |
| Launch and usage information | First or most recent launch time, event timestamps, time zone offset, days of use, screen views, taps, feature access, and operation results | Cached locally and then uploaded to event analytics services |
| Organization statistics | Counts of photos or other items, scan duration, the number of items cleaned, compression operations and results, and permission requests or authorization status | Used to evaluate organization features and permission flows; excludes photo pixel content and calendar item content |
| Subscription status and activity | Whether a subscription is active, subscription type, renewal status, the source from which a subscription screen was opened, and purchase or restoration results | Used to analyze subscription entitlements and purchase flows |
| Marketing attribution | Acquisition source, channel, campaign, ad group, creative, and attribution results | Processed by attribution services such as Adjust, with some results sent back to our analytics services |
These records can be linked through device or attribution identifiers and should not be understood as fully anonymous data. Random identifiers generated by the App are not your phone number or hardware serial number, but they can still distinguish between devices.
Apple handles transactions and payments when you purchase or restore a subscription. The App reads information supplied by Apple, including purchase receipts, product identifiers, transaction identifiers, purchase and expiration dates, and trial or renewal status. This information is used to verify purchases, restore entitlements, and determine subscription validity. Necessary entitlement information is stored locally.
Purchase receipts are submitted to Apple's verification service. When initiating a purchase, the App also submits a formatted Adjust identifier to Apple as an app-provided identifier for associating the transaction. Transaction identifiers, product identifiers, app versions, random device identifiers, and Adjust identifiers are also uploaded to our subscription analytics service. Events such as successful subscriptions are used for Adjust attribution. The scope of transaction events automatically recorded by third-party SDKs depends on the features actually enabled, as described in Section 3. We do not directly obtain your Apple Account password or full payment card information through the App.
The App integrates Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, the Meta (Facebook) SDK, and Adjust. Crashlytics crash collection, Meta automatic events, and Adjust attribution are configured as enabled. Depending on each service's functions and configuration, system restrictions, and your permissions, these services process information such as app activity, installation or instance identifiers, device and operating system information, crash stack traces, diagnostics, marketing attribution, and purchase events. Firebase Analytics collection is enabled. We use it to analyze app usage by processing app or installation identifiers, device and app information, launch and interaction events, and potentially approximate region inferred from IP addresses. Advertising-related features are subject to applicable authorization. This policy does not assume that every integrated component uploads every type of data.
Where the system permits it and tracking permission has been granted, applicable SDKs can access IDFA and conduct tracking requiring that permission. If you decline, have not granted, or withdraw ATT authorization, we do not conduct tracking requiring that authorization or use other identifiers or methods to bypass your choice. Refusing ATT does not disable all analytics or crash diagnostics that do not constitute tracking; those activities remain subject to applicable privacy requirements.
The current version initializes the analytics, diagnostics, and attribution services described above when the App starts. System tracking permission is requested separately. The App currently has no single switch to disable all analytics and diagnostics. You can manage system permissions and contact us using the details in this policy to make requests concerning the processing of your personal information.
When you submit feedback, the text you enter, app identifier, and country or region indicated by your system settings are uploaded to our feedback server and stored in its database. The App does not retain feedback locally. We use feedback to investigate issues and handle suggestions. The form does not require a separate email address. Contact details or other personal information you include are processed as part of the feedback.
Please provide only the information needed to address the issue. Avoid pasting original photos, calendar details, identity documents, account passwords, or full payment information. You may omit contact details if you do not need a reply.
When the App accesses operational interfaces or third-party services, the receiving services obtain the IP address and request information needed to establish the network connection. Third-party services may infer an approximate region from the IP address. This is different from accessing your device's precise location permission.
| Permission | Purpose | Effect of declining or withdrawing permission |
| Photo library access | Scan, categorize, preview, organize by swiping, compress, and delete photos and videos within the authorized scope | Relevant features become unavailable or limited; access to selected photos also depends on the current version's support for limited library access |
| Adding content to the photo library | Save compressed copies of photos and videos | Processing results cannot be saved to the system photo library; the system may manage this permission together with photo library access |
| Calendar access | Read, filter, and delete selected calendar events; newer system versions request full access | Calendar organization becomes unavailable |
| Reminders access | Read, filter, and delete selected reminders; newer system versions request full access | Reminder organization becomes unavailable |
| Notifications | Deliver local reminders to organize photos and videos | The relevant notifications are no longer displayed; organization features remain available |
| Tracking | Allow relevant SDKs to access IDFA and measure marketing effectiveness within system limits | Access to IDFA and associated tracking is restricted; organization features remain available, and other analytics are not all disabled |
You can change permissions in the relevant category under iOS Settings → Privacy & Security, or on the App's page in Settings. Notifications can be managed in the system Notifications settings. Menu names may vary by operating system version.
The current features do not require contacts, camera, microphone, or precise location permissions. Notifications are scheduled locally on your device. Local organization reminders do not require sending your photos or calendar item content to a push notification server.

For questions about the recipients of your information, their processing locations, or how to exercise your rights, contact xuliping@scannersecure.com. Provider privacy information is linked in the table above.
We do not publicly disclose your photos, videos, calendar content, or reminders merely because you use the organization features. Providing personal information to others must have a basis permitted by applicable law. We require third parties receiving personal information from the App to provide the same or equal protection as described in this policy and required by applicable App Store Review Guidelines. Where notice, separate consent, or a data processing agreement is required by law, those requirements must be met. If we receive a legally binding judicial or administrative request, or if information is transferred in connection with a merger or reorganization, we will limit the scope of processing as required by law and fulfill applicable notice and protection obligations.
We determine the grounds for processing personal information according to the particular activity and applicable law. These may include necessity to provide a feature you request, compliance with a legal obligation, or your valid consent to optional processing. Where other grounds are available in a particular jurisdiction, their legal conditions must be met. Accepting the Terms of Use, granting photo library permission, or continuing to use the App does not replace separate privacy choices or separate consent required by law.
Local photo and video analysis results, organization status, preferences, and some analytics records awaiting upload are stored on your device. Copies saved to the system photo library are managed by that library. Our feedback endpoint, api2.scannersecure.com, is hosted on Oracle Cloud servers in Frankfurt, Germany. Our device and subscription statistics endpoint, sbc.scannersecure.com, and event and user-property statistics endpoint, ss.scannersecure.com, are hosted on Oracle Cloud servers in Phoenix, United States. These locations describe the confirmed server deployments and do not establish the locations of every backup or third-party service.
Apple, Google Firebase, Meta, and Adjust may process information using facilities outside your country or region. Processing locations depend on the relevant service and its deployment. We will implement the notices, consent procedures, and other safeguards required by applicable law for international processing. Contact xuliping@scannersecure.com for information about processing locations and safeguards relevant to your data.
Retention depends on the data category and the service holding it. Our server-side databases currently do not apply a fixed automatic expiration period: records remain stored unless manually deleted. You may request deletion by emailing xuliping@scannersecure.com. Following necessary verification, we locate and delete the corresponding records under our control, except where applicable law requires retention. The rules for each category are as follows:
| Data | Retention and deletion |
| Content in the system photo library, calendars, and reminders | Managed by you and the relevant system or cloud account; uninstalling the App does not delete this content or undo earlier deletions |
| Local scan indexes, classifications, swipe organization status, and preferences | Stored locally by the App, with some records updated when asset status changes; uninstalling generally removes data in the App's sandbox, while system backup, restoration, and the preservation of documents through “Offload App” are controlled by iOS |
| Temporary compression files | Generated in the App's temporary directory; some files may remain until later cleanup or system reclamation; copies already saved to the photo library must be managed separately in that library |
| Analytics records awaiting upload | Temporarily stored locally for retries, removed after successful upload, and discarded when the retry limit is reached; there is currently no guarantee that they expire automatically after a fixed number of days |
| Random device identifiers in the Keychain | Stored in the system Keychain and may persist after uninstalling and reinstalling; uninstalling does not reset every identifier |
| Server-side device, usage, and marketing statistics | Stored in our server-side databases. There is currently no fixed automatic expiration or scheduled deletion period; records remain stored unless manually deleted. You may request deletion through the email address in Section 6, and we will locate and delete the corresponding records, subject to applicable legal retention requirements. |
| Server-side subscription and transaction records | Stored in our server-side databases without a fixed automatic expiration period and retained unless manually deleted. You may request deletion through Section 6. If applicable law requires particular transaction records to be retained, we will explain the reason and restrict their use to the required purposes. Apple retains its own records under its policies and legal obligations. Deleting records does not cancel an App Store subscription. |
| Feedback and request handling records | Feedback is uploaded to and stored in our server-side database; the App does not retain feedback locally. There is currently no fixed automatic expiration period, and resolving feedback does not automatically delete it. Records remain stored unless manually deleted. Email xuliping@scannersecure.com to request deletion; following necessary verification, we locate and delete the corresponding records under our control, unless legally required retention applies. Privacy-request handling records may be retained as necessary to document compliance with applicable law. |
| Third-party analytics and diagnostic records | Retention by Firebase, Meta, and Adjust is subject to the applicable service terms, retention settings, and legal requirements. Provider privacy information is linked in Section 3. You may contact us to ask about retention applicable to your records or to request deletion; we will handle requests within our responsibilities and communicate them to relevant providers where applicable. |
Uninstalling the App or withdrawing system permissions does not automatically delete information already uploaded and does not cancel Apple subscriptions. To request deletion of server-side information, contact us through the channels listed in this policy. If records must be retained by law, we will explain the reason, restrict their use, and handle them as required by law once the retention requirement ends.
Subject to applicable law, you may request information about, access to, a copy of, correction of, additions to, or deletion of your personal information. You may withdraw consent-based authorization and request restriction of processing, object to processing, or request a portable copy. You may also ask us to explain this policy and lodge a complaint with a competent regulator.
The current operational and analytics interfaces use HTTPS for transmission. On the device, different categories of information are stored using the iOS app sandbox and system Keychain. We will apply access management and protective measures appropriate to the risks to reduce unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss. However, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
If a personal information security incident occurs, we will take remedial measures as required by law and notify affected users and competent authorities where required. Please also protect your device, Apple Account, and necessary backups, and avoid including unrelated sensitive information in feedback.
The App is not directed to children under 13 or a higher minimum age required by applicable law. If a minor is permitted to use the App, the parent or guardian should supervise use and provide authorization where required. We must comply with applicable children's privacy and parental authorization requirements. An App Store content rating does not replace these requirements. In mainland China, personal information of children under 14 is also subject to the applicable rules protecting sensitive personal information and children's information.
The current version does not include a separate age verification or parental consent process. If a parent or guardian believes that we have processed personal information about a minor without legally required authorization, contact xuliping@scannersecure.com. We will investigate and take appropriate action, including stopping processing or deleting information where required by law.
We may update this policy when features, service providers, or information processing practices change, and will state the new update date. Changes that materially affect processing purposes, information categories, recipients, or your rights will be communicated through an in-app notice or another appropriate method. Where renewed consent is legally required, we will follow the relevant procedure rather than treating continued use as implied consent.
If you need a reply, please use the email address above as your preferred contact method or voluntarily include contact details in your feedback message. For Apple's independent processing relating to transactions, the system photo library, or iCloud, you can also visit Apple's Privacy page to learn about the relevant rights channels.
